So, yeah ...

I FINALLY finished my Media essay. That was a mission and a half. It's utter shite and I haven't done nearly enough research because it's HARD and I don't wanna.

Also, spookily my MySpace horoscope was right again. Well, partly:

You can feel great when you nurture others, but you could do it so forcefully today that you run into the danger of being overprotective. Fighting someone else's battles may be more about your own self-worth than being of assistance. Unfortunately, others may resent you for smothering them, so don't try to control anything that isn't your direct concern.

So, um, weird. The middle part IDK what it's talking about and I don;t know why I am suddenly so interested in horoscopes but I'M BORED AND HAVING A TOUGH WEEK.

Well today was pretty much good all round actually. I laughed a lot. Although I did get VERY PISSED OFF when 2 CERTAIN PEOPLE didn't turn up for Art, leaving me ALL ON MY OWN AS USUAL AND THEY'RE GONNA FAIL THEIR AS LEVEL IF THEY DON'T GET THEIR ASSES IN GEAR, SO THEY SHOULDN'T COME CRYING TO ME WHEN THEY GET E'S!!!

Just because they "couldn't be arsed" is no excuse. I couldn't either but hey, like a normal person, I want a good grade.

GRR.

In other news, I have another trial day at BBSS in Sevenoaks, which I will get paid for, and this time I'll make sure I don't accidentally forget to charge a customer for a book, which I'm sure is why I didn't get the job last time. But there's a different manager now, so I can start over and be good.

You can tell I've had a bad day just by how many I've posts I've made. I think this is my 4th. Plus, I checked my horoscope, so you know, how desperate can you get? I'm an emotional wreck. I'm also being very dramatic. I'm sure there are people with much worse problems than me. I just want love and attention. *smack* BAD CAT!

The world is againt me .. I think

So out of curiosity and boredom I read my horoscope on MySpace for today:

It may not be obvious to others, but you could be hurting emotionally today. There isn't much to be gained by keeping your pain on the inside. If something hasn't worked out according to your dreams, it isn't a valid reason to withdraw. Use this time to consider what you have already learned and what you need to change. Relax with a friend and allow time for the passion to return before deciding what to do next.

...

I hate when they're right. Because then I feel like I have to carry out the "advice" and I don't actually know whether to trust it or not because it could just make my situation worse. Then again it could make it better, and if I DON'T carry it out and it gets worse, I feel stupid for not doing it. But actually usually I just forget about the stupid horoscopes and get on with my life. Not that I don't want to "relax with a friend", but ... I just don't like when they're right.

Do I make any sense?

Do I EVER make sense?

Does anyone even read my posts?

Still.

I'm just very very bored, and avoiding Media homework.

Still listening to PotterCast ...

John's Luna impression is amazing. Seriously.

"They're called Thestrals."

It's UNCANNY.

And AGAIN WITH THE DAWLISH.

Moochka Dawlish PotterCat.

So cute.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ftjkYfDAhOU
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qcT4kdvjm9k

"You're not allowed to be funnier than John Noe."

Damn straight, Melissa.

There's too many funny quotes here to keep track of.

"She's still hissing at me - I think she went to open the Chamber!"

"I'm quite flattered - she goes out of her way to show her disapproval."

*Moochka Dawlish PotterCat hisses* "I don't know if you can understand parseltongue but that was 'Crucio'"

Bad kitty.

I read a book called Bad Kitty. Was good. But I found the secondary characters more interesting than the main character. That's not supposed to happen.

Although. I do care a lot more about Ron and Hermione than HP. Because he's an idiot.

OK I didn't mean that. But I do prefer Ron especially.

So anyway.

If Media gets too much I'll come back to complain.

... bye

PotterCast totally pwned my day

OK so. I haven;t updated in forever.

OK, like a month.

Whatever.

I'm a bad blogger.

It doesn't help that I have to do a Media essay about it.

SO ANYWAY.

Had a bad Friday. Didn't get into places I wanted to get into, things didn't happen that I wanted to happen, I wasted money and I hit my head.

OK weekend ... but then I got back to school and WORK WORK STUFF WORK BOO HOO

But it was Nat's bday so that was nice.

So my bad mood from Friday came back. And my feet got all wet because it rained and I wore my not-supposed-to-wear-when-it-rains boots. And I'm secretly annoyed with some people. And I don't like Media Studies.

But THEN I finished this book and it was OK.

And then I started listening to PotterCast on the way home which I haven't listened to in WEEKS because the Internet died on me and it SAVED ME! I swear. I mean, I've not had the best week, with the whole no Internet, and confusion and work and blah blah blah but ALL I had to do was listen to Sue squeeing and John being an idiot and Melissa scolding him and YAY HAPPY! They're like medicine for depression. And I only listened to like 5 minutes. It was just Sue saying they should make Hufflepuff pajamas (I would SO buy Ravenclaw PJs) and John taking about Gambon's Dumbledore ("and then he kicked a crew member just to stay in character" ... "my Gambon-Dumbledore is always pissed off in the action figures") and I was LOLing all the way down the street.

And I got home and my mum had bought me Oreos and Ellen was on which just topped it all off.

Although now I can't post on the TW board because ... idk why, but it SUCKS but here I am listening to Pottercast and everything is OK.

OK, John's impression of Darius from PoA was hilarious. "It's like catching a ghost with your bare hands!" It's smoke, John, not ghost. Whatever. I'm not even paying attention to the Canon Conundrums about Deathly Hallows. It's hard to type and listen at the same time!

BACKSTAGE AT WICKED!!!!

AHHH IT WAS AMAZING!!!

There were only 2 drawbacks - I forgot to take my camera!! I was so annoyed at myself!! So no recordings and no pictures. Also, I didn't get to meet Idina but more on that later.

The show was amaaaazing. I'd already been in September but this was so much better. I was in Row A of the Circle so the view was fantastic and everyone had improved so much since September, even though I didn't think it was possible, especially Idina. DG was the best part by far. For the whole of the first act I was hoping for a blooper but there were none, until when Idina was singing DG and her hat slipped off! But it wasn't when she was in the air, she was still on the stage near the front when that happened, and she managed to catch it and carry on so nothing was spoiled. Then when she was going "look to the western sky" I SWEAR she pointed and looked right at me!!! But later Martin told us that you can't see a thing when your on stage but oh well. And she did the most AMAZING riffs!!! Especially on he first "bring me down". The "me" seemed to stretch out for minutes and it had this fantastic little riff at the end. By far the best DG I have EVER HEARD! Her No Good Deed was also fantastic.

OK, then after the show we went to stage door to meet Martin. First we just chatted for a bit and he mentioned that someone had made a fan site for him and his cat had a site, and I said "Yeah, I've seen it on myspace!" XD

OK, then he took us to where they keep all the costumes. They had the flatheads down there too, and right next to a flathead was a rack of clothes with the cast member's normal clothes on. The first hanger said "Elphaba - Idina menzel" on it, so I was silently squeeing that I was standing right next to one of Idina Menzel's ACTUAL shirts.

Then - this was by far the coolest part for me - Martin was talking about the microphones and Idina's witches hat was just lying there, so he picked it up and showed us the microphone on it, and then put the hat on my head!!!!!! I WORE IDINA FRICKIN MENZEL'S HAT!!!!! AAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oooooh, calm down now. He then showed us other costumes (unfortunately none of Idina's) like the monkey's and the guards, and whoever got that Tony for the costumes really deserved it, because there is SO much detail you don't even realise is there when you're in the audience. And we also saw some wigs and masks, including Martin's goat mask and his costume.

There was also the dress that the witches mother wears, so we asked him how her stomach expands and where the baby comes from etc. He said, *SPOILERS* when the Wizard goes down the trap door he discreetly pulls a string which makes the dress, which is made of some kind of spongy material, expand to look like she's pregnant, then when the midwife comes in she is holding the baby in some blankets.

Theeen, he took us down into the orchestra pit. The percussion guy has this whole room to himself full of drums and stuff, and loads of weird instruments that I've never even heard of. Martin said that it was quite amusing watching him during "No Good Deed". Then right next to that was the trap door thingy, that takes Idina up for "No Good Deed", and right next to that was The Grimmerie itself. I couldn't believe that they just leave props lying around like that but there it was!! So I had to touch that too and take a good look. There's actual writing in the book but I was way too overwhelmed to register what it said.

Then we went up to the stage itself. It seems a lot smaller when you stand on it than when your in the audience. And we saw that the beds for "Popular" are hanging in the air in the wings because there's so little room back there. They have more costumes and props back there too, like the baby, which is actually really heavy, and Glinda's wand which she uses in the second act, and Glinda's bubble dress. It's also really heavy, and I mean REALLY because it has a harness in it to attach her to the bubble. He also told us about how Idina defies gravity, but I already knew that from a video on youtube :P

Phew. THEN it was almost over :( so he was taking us back to where he started when we saw the cage that the lion is kept in so we asked him how it moved. It's a puppet, so some poor person has to stay underneath the cage and move it. It was so funny, my friend went under to have a try, and she was like "How do you do it?" and Martin said "I think you stick your hand up it's arse". So funny. Oh and also my other friend asked him, bless her, "Do you do all your own bleating or is it a sound effect?" because it's so realistic, and yes, he does in fact do his own bleating. Oh, and the paper he eats is a strip of rice paper taped to real paper, and he said he's accidentally eaten the tape before!

So then it was the end :( I asked him if we could see any more of the cast and he said he would love to take us to see Idina, but she is always so busy and getting swamped by fans and she gets so tired. So I just asked him if he would sign my program and he did I'll take a photo of it and get it up as soon as I can.

Wow. So yeah, basically, it was the most amazing day of my life!!

Well how about that ...

I found my PS DVD. It's been sitting on a shelf right behind me the whole time (although yesterday I wasn't in this room, I was upstairs).

Wow I feel like, really energetic. It might be because of the diet coke and food, and also the happy songs I'm playing, orrr .. idk.

So yeah, I'm pretty bored and soon will probably go watch 2001: a space odessy because I borrowed it from someone ages ago and .. still haven't watched it.

I TELL YOU WHAT

I'm pissed about my ps2

it's unfair

this game called spyro, it's really good, and everytime I get to around the halfway point ALL the saved data just disappears. And what's really weird is that if i go to the memory cards it says there is data there, but it doesn't show up on the game

IT'S SO FRUSTRATING!!!!!!

And i just got a letter saying I didn't get a job at the wedding dress shop

BUT regardless i will continue to be in a good mood.

maybe later i'll go on the dancemat

right now i think i'll see of spyro is still being a lame ass.

I'm a theeeef

I stoled this from Sarah:

List Your Six Favorite Shows
1) Green Wing
2) Doctor Who
3) Friends
4) My Parents Are Aliens
5) Fairly Odd Parents
6) Lost

1. Who is your favorite character from #2?
The Doctor! But only as David Tennant, second is Rose

2. Who is your least favorite character from #4?
Ooooh. Wendy. (I'm not including the latest series because it doesn't deserve to be on TV)

3. What would a crossover between #1 and #5 include?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! THAT WOULD BE HILARIOUS! AND DISTURBING! ROFL

4. Who is your favorite ship from #6?
Kate/Sawyer

5. If you were to set one person from #3 and one person from #6 on a blind date, who would they be?
Umm... Joey and Shannon? no, PASS

6. If you could meet one person from #4 and spend the day with them, who would it be, and what would you do?
Brian, and we would spend the day just being weird (because he's an alien, duh)

7. If you could change one thing about #2's plotline, what would you change?
Rose wouldn't leave and she would stay with the Doctor and they would live happily ever after and have lots of alien babies

8. Explain a relationship between two people (not necessarily romantic) from show #5, and why you like the relationship between them.
Cosmo and his mum - it's funny

9. If the lead title characters (first name in the credits) from #1 and #3 were both drowning, and you could only save one, who would it be?
Well in both those shows there is no lead character, they're ensembles, so .. PASS

10. If you could change the title characters' order in the credits for #4, what order would you choose?
er .. idk the order.

11. If you were able to add a new character, any kind of character you wanted, to the storyline for #6, what would the character be like and what would their role be?
It would be someone to bring some actual comedy to the show. Like John Noe

12. What happens in your favorite episode of show #2?
OOH! it's the satan pit - doctor and rose end up on a ship orbiting a black hole and they both like, almost die, and it's the first time the doctor like, kind of admits he loves rose. and there's these freaky creatures called the ood and this one guy dies and it;s pretty sad. and special effects are like WOW. it's awesome.

13. If you could kill off one of the characters of #1, who would it be and how would you do it?
it would be holly, but she's already left but whatever, i want to kill her anyway. i COULD say mac, but he's funny and gonna die anyway.

14. If you got the chance to visit the set for either show #3 or show #5, which would you choose?
3 because 5 is a cartoon - duh

15. So, I saved the best question for last. If you could date anyone from any of these shows, which show and which person?
David Tennant as the Doctor (second is Chandler)

PS: my mood is at envious because i'm just like, envious of people in happy relationships and yeahhhhh.

Starting over

Soooo, I haven't updated in like ... 525,600 minutes (ha .. ha ...) so I've deleted all my posts and I'm starting over. Mainly because a lot of my posts made me sound like a stalker, and the others made me seem like a loser ... I think.

Anyway, this is what's going on in my life right now:

I just watched the worst movie ever, and I don't know where my PS DVD is which is making me quite depressed.

Adios, nigs.
